Job Needed for MA Journalism Grad.

I have just completed a MA in Broadcast Journalism at The University of Westminster, and I am desperately searching for any available work in the journalism industry.

I also have a BA in Politics and International Relations from the University of Hull.

I have had internships at the BBC's World Service on the World Have Your Say Program, as well as an internship at CNN.com, I have also worked on three online magazines and my 15 minute radio documentary telling the stories of genocide survivors was featured on RW Radio Network in July 2009.

I am extremely hard working and great on computers. Please find more details below:

SKILLS:

Final Cut Pro, iMovie HD, iDVD, Soundtrack Pro, Cool Edit Pro, Adobe Audition, Adobe Photoshop, Audacity, Burli, inDesign, Podcasting Software, MPEG Streamclip, ENPS, iNewsroom/Tools.

Typist, advanced user of MS Word, Access, PowerPoint, and Excel (Office). Advanced user of Mac OSX systems, Windows Vista, and Windows 95/2000.

Experience with web designs, html and emerging platforms.



During my MA Broadcast Journalism I covered the following topics:


Business and Finance Journalism

Radio/TV news production – Extensive use of DV and broadcast cameras as well as news room multimedia systems.

Media Law (NCTJ cert.)

Shorthand (60 wpm) - Teeline

Radio/TV/Music/Film editing including a 15 min Radio Documentary broadcast on RW Radio Network 2009.
